The BME participates in a moment of silence in honor of the martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah

The Head of the Department, Professor Dr. Wissam Kazem Hamdan, along with professors and students from the department, participated in a moment of silence organized in the presence of the esteemed President of the University.

The event included a moment of silence and the recitation of Surah Al-Fatiha for the soul of the martyr of the resistance, the Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, who was assassinated in an Israeli airstrike targeting the southern suburbs of Beirut.

After the national mourning was declared for three days across the country in memory of the martyr of the resistance, the Head of the Biomedical Engineering Department stated: “We strongly condemn the heinous and criminal act carried out by the Zionist entity, resulting in the martyrdom of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, who dedicated his blessed life to defending the rights of the oppressed and standing against aggression and injustice.”
