The Head of the Department of Biomedical Engineering, Prof. Dr. Sadiq Hussein Bakhi, held a meeting with the department's affiliates on Sunday, February 16, 2025 at 1:00 pm.

The meeting dealt with many important topics, most notably emphasizing the need for individual and collective efforts by all affiliates to develop work and performance, in addition to adhering to the official working hours in accordance with the directives of the Ministry and the University Presidency. Emphasis was also placed on the importance of activating coordination between the divisions and units of the department in order to raise the level of performance and avoid wasting time, in addition to the need to complete the tasks assigned to each associate according to his position and as quickly as possible.

Mr. Head of the Department addressed a set of administrative and technical recommendations and observations, and listened to the suggestions and observations of the affiliates in a transparent and interactive manner.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Head of the Department expressed his thanks and appreciation for the fruitful cooperation of all affiliates, praising the efforts exerted to develop the department scientifically and academically. He also wished all affiliates of the department more success and success to achieve further development and creativity.

 

On Tuseday, February 19, 2025, Prof. Dr. Sadiq Hussein Bakhi, Head of the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the Technological University, conducted an inspection tour of the examination halls to check the progress of the final exams for the first semester of the first semester of the academic year 2024-2025.

During his tour, His Excellency followed up the readiness of the department to conduct the exams, checking the level and nature of the questions through dialog with a number of students, to ensure that they are in line with academic standards. He also praised the great efforts exerted by the teaching staff and members of the examination committees in organizing and following up the progress of the exams, stressing their keenness to provide an ideal examination environment that ensures smooth performance at the highest levels of efficiency.

At the end of his visit, Prof. Dr. Sadiq Hussein Bakhi expressed his great appreciation for all the efforts exerted, wishing the students success and excellence, and urging them to strive to achieve the highest academic levels and scientific excellence.

 

 

Prof. Dr. Sadiq Hussein Bakhi, Head of the Department of Biomedical Engineering, held his first meeting with the teaching staff of the Biomechanics Branch and the Medical Devices Branch in the presence of the respected heads of the branches, Assistant Professor Dr. Saad Mahmoud and Instructor Dr. Alaa Mohammed. The meeting highlighted the importance of the teacher's awareness of the objectives of his course to ensure improving the quality of education, directing students towards achieving the required outcomes, and designing activities that support the application of knowledge.

The meeting also emphasized the importance of developing the Portfolio files and applying its paragraphs accurately and systematically to ensure that the learning outcomes are aligned with the strategic objectives of the department and the university, which enhances the department's academic standing and supports accreditation and quality standards.

The meeting also addressed ways to improve the educational and research environment within the department. Extensive discussions were held on how to raise the level of scientific performance and enhance the quality of education through curriculum development and providing a stimulating academic environment for students and researchers.

At the conclusion of the meeting, a number of inquiries and questions were raised by the ladies and gentlemen faculty members at the two branches, and they were discussed at length to reach practical solutions that contribute to improving the efficiency of the educational process and achieving academic excellence.

The Head of the Department thanked the faculty members of the Biomechanics Branch and the Medical Devices Branch for their attendance and interest, appreciating their active participation in constructive discussions that contribute to the development of the educational and research process in the department.


The representative of the Academic and Teaching Union at the Department of Biomedical Engineering, Dr. Ali Jalal Ali, held a meeting with faculty members to discuss observations and ideas with the aim of developing academic performance and enhancing its sustainability.

The meeting dealt with ways to improve the educational and research environment within the department, which contributes to raising the level of scientific performance and enhancing the quality of education. In addition, inquiries and questions were raised by faculty members, which were discussed in order to reach solutions that enhance the efficiency of the educational process. This meeting comes within the Syndicate's ongoing efforts to support professional and academic development, ensuring a stimulating academic environment that meets the requirements of research and learning in biomedical engineering.
